I'm Holly, a Senior Product Designer and Manager with over 8 years industry experience. Trained as an Architect, I side-stepped into UX in 2009 following a design course at Cooper in San Francisco. My training and love of the built environment, along with design fundamentals, provided the perfect platform for a career in User Experience and Product Management.

Senior UX Designer, Foolproof
As Flow Interactive and Foolproof merged officially under one brand I was promoted to Senior Interaction Designer. Working closely with the Head of Interaction Design, my responsibilities included reviewing the quality of the output from the design team and to help define success criteria through an iterative design process. I supported the Account and PM team with the costing and planning of new and existing projects as well as playing a key role within the New Business department.

ORM is a full-service agency spanning both digital and experential. As UX Designer I played an important role crafting numerous cross-platform applications for a range of sectors including Finance, Media/Broadcasting, Healthcare and other B2B service industries. Alongside day-to-day production, I have also helped to shape the User Centered Design process and communication strategy for a growing UX department.

Lead Designer, BaseKit
BaseKit is a VC-funded startup company where I ran the day-to-day management of the design studio, recruitment and workload. I led the 8-strong design team through several website iterations and an internationalisation project, creating localised websites in 10 different counties. Alongside this, I worked closely with the Head of UX, as we were faced with the challenge of redesigning BaseKit for a new target market - the small business user.
MAY 2006 - JULY 2010
Having spent some time at Cooper in San Francisco I helped to introduce User Centered Design methodologies into the agile development environment with a nearshore tech team. Working with large multi-national companies to drive user experience engagement of sales microsites and B2B SaaS apps, built on the Force.com platform.
